Each pay-dirt gives 60 Mining XP when mined plus bonus XP when the ore is cleaned (coal and gold 15, mithril 30, adamantite 45, runite 75), so about 85.6 XP a pay-dirt at 99. The ore is random and improves with your Mining level (the wiki's ore chance chart); the rates follow your level. The default pay-dirt/hr also follows your level, from the wiki's experience-rate table (~13k XP/hr at 30 up to ~64k at 99, with the upper level from 57, a dragon pickaxe from 61 and the prospector outfit). Also ~1 golden nugget per 32 (untradeable - spent with Prospector Percy).

XP and output per pay-dirt, and the default pay-dirt per hour, change with your Mining level here: the hourly figures use level 99 (enter your level to see yours), and a level goal is worked out level by level.
