How Vyre pickpocketing works

Each successful pickpocket gives 306.9 Thieving XP - you need 82 Thieving and Sins of the Father. Base success is about 42% at level 82 and 50.2% at 99; a Thieving cape adds 10% and the hard Ardougne diary adds another 10% (Gloves of Silence give 5% but do not stack with the diary).

Loot is mostly coins, blood and death runes and uncut gems, plus a 1/5,000 chance of a blood shard per pickpocket. Full rogue equipment doubles all loot, including blood shards (an effective 1/2,500). Rocky, the Thieving pet, rolls at 1/(99,175 − 25 × your level).
