Click when a note on the guide lane is under the white line. The run goes on until you die or press Stop. Arrow keys or middle-drag turn the camera, scroll zooms.

Each lesson has three help levels. Pass it with Guided help, then Light, then with nothing but what the game shows you; the ticks show how far you have got.
Options
Set Ping to your real ping, and Interface size to your client's (100% is the fixed-mode client at its own size) so the prayer book is the size you click in game. A click is processed on the next tick after it reaches the server; an attack only sees prayers that were up at the start of its tick, even though it hits you a tick or more later (Jad decides 3 ticks after his animation starts). A prayer is never drained on the tick it goes on, which is why clicking off and on inside a tick, or having it on for just the tick before an attack, costs nothing.
